The Art of Happiness
Michael Lee believes happiness is important. And that's why he wrote the article The Art of Happiness - How to Live In Blissful Happiness. In it he explains how to achieve the art of happiness - smile, be patient, and trust in the cycle of happiness - and I'm not going to disagree with him. Not feeling the need to disagree with people is an art of happiness (maybe?). Anyway, happiness is important and something we all strive for. (Misery - or boredom, as some would have the opposite of happiness to be - does not need to be sought after it seems: it's naturally everywhere! Alas.) And I think Michael gives us all food for thought. (Thank you, Mr Lee.) The art of happiness - what I say...What is the art of happiness? Is it discovering true happiness or the keys to happiness? And what do these expressions mean:
and how do we make these expressions work in our lives? Is the art of happiness coming up with a snappy happiness quotation like this one: "The basic thing is that everyone wants happiness,
no one wants suffering. And happiness mainly comes from our own attitude,
rather than from external factors. If your own mental attitude is correct,
even if you remain in a hostile atmosphere, you feel happy." Or is it being able to create a thought-provoking video and put it on YouTube? Personally, I think that the art of happiness is being able to ask lots of questions about happiness without necessarily being able to answer them! Ha ha. Actually I do not believe that art of happiness is the pursuit of happiness (that is not my definition of happiness) - there's one answer for you! I believe that happiness just is, that you simply allow yourself to be happy (the opposite is to refuse to accept the world as it is, and to always be wanting (a dreaded word) more!) So, I think happiness is a state of being - being: that is the art of happiness. (I'm sure Eckhart Tolle and the other self-help gurus would agree.) What do you think about the art of happiness? Remember, The Self Help Collective does not promise to give all the answers. Maybe you know better than me about happiness and how to achieve it. If so, do let us know! (Even if you don't, do let us know!) It's Michael Lee time... The Art of Happiness - How to Live In Blissful HappinessThe art of happiness - what Michael Lee has to say...Every human being has a desire to feel happy. It is your birthright. Living and knowing the art of happiness is what life is all about. Happiness is a gift that we feel. The art of happiness is understood as a great deed which eventually leads us to a positive behavior. The art of happiness is based on the most fundamental attitude in your subconscious mind towards life, and that is "you love life." This great depth of feeling of love for life is similar to the solid foundation of a steady house; it is a person's most basic emotional framework. The art of happiness is too often taken for granted. You ask why others feel great, while you don't. You ask why they see the good side of life and only hear the good news, while you don't. You can learn the art of happiness by adopting a repetition of skills that leads you to positive thoughts and boosts your well-being. When we were born, our minds are empty barrels waiting to be filled with memories, ideas, beliefs, attitudes, and perspectives. We cry after taking our first breath and that is the moment we start doing the art of happiness. We strive to reach the shining moments of our lives and take advantage of every opportunity to be happy. But there are times when we have to realize we can't have it all. We learn the art of happiness by learning how to wait. That is when we use our coping skills and techniques to use our positive experiences in bridging the gaps to our own happiness Take Vitamin S - Smile, to master the art of happiness. This special
kind of magic takes away depression. Don't forget to store your wonderful
emotional experiences, as these eventually make you realize what made
you feel better, how to let go of hurt, and how to make more positive
experiences to happen. The art of happiness is a cycle; the chance
keeps coming back, and it's up to you to choose happiness in the end. ---------------------------------------------------- Return to happiness or return to Self Help Collective home page How Did We Do?What do you think to this the art of happiness page? Please rate it below - thanks! :-)
