Okay, why is it my favourite?

Well, I think a lot of us (me, included) look outside for answers, look to learn from others, from 'gurus' even. But I've come to believe, only recently actually from having the more spiritual self-help from the likes of Eckhart Tolle and Guy Finley, that we already know everything that we need to know - and that the 'gurus', or the friends that seem to be wiser than we are, are there to simply show us this truth.

And, yes, this quotation has changed my life. It's led me to create the Self Help Collective website - a guru-free self-help site, no less - and it's also led me to take much more responsibility for my own life.

By the way, Galileo said these wise words around 400 years ago, which only goes to show you that wisdom is as old as the hills - well, 400 year old hills. Lol
