Self improvement resources
- what I say...
Well I could say a lot about this topic, I surely could (I'm sure you could too). But this is definitely one of those cases where less is more. So I want to just focus on the self-improvement power of self improvement quotes.
Not just any inspirational quotations, but quotes that have been carefully chosen to have maximum impact IF they are fully understood and fully acted on.
Because I think people, generally, read inspirational quote after quote and feel good about themselves just by reading these quotes. Which is a bit like getting healthier simply by reading a recipe for a healthy meal! (It don't work!)
None of that nonsense here, though! So, if you're going to read the next few self improvement inspirational quotes, I want you to promise me that you will put at least one of them into action today,
. Okay? (You promise?)
Self improvement quotes:
"Self-education is, I firmly believe, the only kind of education there is. "
-- Isaac Asimov
"What you dislike in another take care to correct in yourself. "
-- Thomas Sprat
"What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow: Our life is the creation of our mind."
-- Buddha
"Never wish life were easier, wish that you were better."
-- Jim Rohn
"Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance. Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion."
-- Martha Graham
And this is my own favourite inspirational quote:
"You can't teach anybody anything, only make them realize the answers are already inside them."
-- Galileo
IF - as you promised you would do, above, remember! - if you act on one of these self improvement quotes today then I guarantee that you will improve your life today.
How about that for the power of the right self improvement resources!

Self improvement resources - what CK* has to say...
The right self improvement resources can help you learn to manage your time more effectively, communicate more clearly, think more positively or grow in other ways. Many solutions are available online, which makes learning more about improving your life easier than ever before. Here are just a few suggestions that you might like to consider.
When it comes to managing our time wisely, it is the little distractions that actually cause us to lose the most time. After a tiny two second distraction, it can take as long as 15 minutes to be able to concentrate again.
There are some distractions that are unavoidable, such as the phone ringing. Noise distractions like slamming doors, overheard conversations, footsteps and others can be blocked out with ambient sound. You might think of it as elevator music, but a constant, soothing low-volume recording can reduce most noise distractions and eliminate many of them.
The use of ambient sound is one of the free self improvement ideas provided by Productivity501. Other online resources for managing your time include Slacker Manager and The Optimized Life.
Learning about the concept of "Zen" is one thing that helps many people. Zen is a Buddhist concept, but religious connections are unnecessary to experience it.
There are many self improvement articles online concerning the concept of Zen and how you can put it to use in your life to experience more happiness. One thing you will learn about is letting go of your attachments.
We have a tendency to become too attached to the things in our lives. We may begin to feel that we cannot live without them. When those things disappear, we are hurt and miserable.
While you might think that letting go of attachments would mean that you cannot experience feelings fully, it is exactly the opposite. In Zen, you learn to experience and enjoy things fully, without becoming attached to them.
A number of motivational speakers provide free self improvement advice online. Steve Olson, Craig Harper, Scott Young and Jim Rohn are just a few of the writers that might have the information that you need.
Sometimes it takes a little searching to find the words that really make a difference in your life. Where those words come from is not that important. They could be written on the slip of paper in a fortune cookie. They could come from one of your children.
What is important is to never stop learning, growing and changing. Take advantage of all of the self improvement resources available. It is well worth the effort.
