Self Improvement Advice: Don't Be A Self-Help Junkie!
;-)
"The key [to self-help] is to take action... "...or
[to] apply the new knowledge you are learning so you will actually see some self
improvement." That's GiGi Konwin's self-improvement advice, anyway,
in her self-improvement article (below), cheekily asking whether you are a self
help junkie? I hope you are not. Much better to be an 'enjoying
life' junkie, I think. ;-) Anyway, do you think that's good advice for
self help improvement? Do let me know of this
advice!
Self improvement advice - what I say...Well
I think GiGi is offering us all good advice. All the self
improvement ideas in the world mean little if you don't take relevant and
timely action afterwards. In that case, you really would be a self-improvement
junkie with a 'hobby' - simply seeking out self-help
articles, tips and training for the sake of it, but lacking the motivation
to do anything useful with this knowledge. I say 'no' to that! I say actions
speak louder than words! :-) (And I'm hoping that you're nodding in
agreement with me right now.) Taking action is not always easy, though -
sometimes it is easier to read than to do; it's quicker to read a self improvement
quote or visit another self-improvement site than to actually put what you've
learnt into practice... (which is why I believe subscribing to SBI! to be a great
self improvement idea: SBI!
literally forces you to take your ideas and put them into action!) The answer
to this conundrum? Contact me and I'll tell you!
(Ooh. Don't worry the answer doesn't involve anything painful like money, I promise!
;-) .) For now, let's carry on listening to GiGi Konwin and her self improvement
advice...
Are You A Self Improvement Junkie?Self
improvement advice - what GiGi Konwin says...Are you a self improvement
junkie? Do you do have more than 3 of the following self help addictions: Are
you on more than 3 self help newsletters? Do you peruse the self help section
of your local bookstore? Do you know "The Secret"? Are you a loyal follower
of Dr. Phil? Dr. Laura? Any self-help guru with a Dr. in front of their name?
How many self improvement books do you own? How many audio self help programs
do you own? Do you buy the latest program or book but don't use it consistently
for at least 30 days? I feel your pain. I've been there too. Okay, I'm STILL
there. Fortunately, I've been able to take my addiction and create a business
out of it by reviewing self improvement products. Now I get new products and books
sent to me on a regular basis to review and include on my website or newsletter. You
may not be so lucky. But don't despair. I am here to tell you that wanting
to improve yourself is not a bad thing. In fact, man has been searching for
enlightenment since the early eastern philosophers like Siddhartha and Confucius. The
person that is not looking to improve themselves likely has very limiting beliefs
and is not willing to change. They are the type of people that would benefit most
from self improvement. So don't look at your quest for self improvement as a bad
thing. The key is to take action or apply the new knowledge you are
learning so you will actually see some self improvement. That is the key difference
between a self help junkie and a self help performer. If you are
looking to get started in any self improvement arena, start small. Sometimes trying
to devote a whole hour a day to meditation, or brainwave entrainment can be too
much to fit into your day. For information about a brand new program that
only takes 7 minutes a day to work self improvement thoughts into your subconscious,
click on the link below. You'll be taken to a review site for a free 30 trial
of this simple yet highly effective program. Remember, self improvement
is an ongoing process but something that requires action - everyday. Use this
chance to create some change in your life. ----------------------------------------------------
