Personal Development Articles

Personal development articles - what they say...

  • 3 Keys to Guaranteed Self-Growth by Elaine Sihera

"No matter what you do with your life, the three factors listed here are guaranteed to develop your potential and establish who you are more than any other." And the 3 factors that Elaine refers to are 1) Boost your brain and read inspiring books, 2) Emphasize your strengths and 3) Set realistic goals. And Elaine explains more in her article...

  • The Top 5 Keys To A Longer Life by Elaine Sihera

"Why do some people live much longer and healthier than others? Is there some magic formula to increase those precious years? It might be simpler than you think". Indeed, Elaine, and I am at liberty to reveal what your top 5 keys are, namely: 5) Nutrition 4) Health, 3) Wealth, 2) Social Network and... 1) Education. And Elaine explains more in her article...

  • 4 Main Ways to Face Personal Challenges by Elaine Sihera

Elaine's article starts with these words, "Every day, try to free yourself from the desire for perfection and allow your confidence to grow. It was the Buddhist Lama Yeshe who said, 'Self-confidence is not a feeling of superiority, but of independence.'". She then goes on to talk other ways to personal growth: 2) perseverance, 3) risk-taking and 4) never quitting - all great tips for personal development, no? Elaine explains more in her article...

(Yes, as I've already said, I am a big fan of Elaine Sihera when it comes to personal growth and self-help. If you'd like to read the above personal development articles in full (and many more) then you can read all of her articles at Elaine's Self Help Articles on EzineArticles.com.

And someone else who writes great personal development articles is Dorothy M. Neddermeyer, PhD. Take a look at some of her articles, also listed at Ezine Articles:

  • Commitment by Dorothy M. Neddermeyer, PhD

"Your words are a vehicle for your commitments. The commitments once spoken are more than just words. When you make a commitment, a subtle, yet, powerful shift takes place in your soul where intentions are held." Personally, I think commitment - commitment to life, to relationships, to yourself - is one of the most important aspects of a life well lived, so recommend this article to you. (What do you think about commitment?)

  • Compassion - Be The Change You Want To See by Dorothy M. Neddermeyer, PhD

"Your efforts in showing compassion can help to educate and inspire others to be more open-minded. Whether you express compassion in small ways or volunteer your time to an organization, your efforts are well-worth your time and energy" A little bit of compassion goes a long way! :-)

  • Intuitive Wisdom by Dorothy M. Neddermeyer, PhD

"We often think of empowerment as a quality that arises from a place of firm determination and a will to succeed no matter the cost. Although you might think being empowered is defined as such, what truly propels people's confidence is their capacity for listening to who they truly are and being able to call upon their intuitive wisdom in any situation that arises" Intuitive wisdom is what the Self Help Collective is all about - we all know more than we realise!

  • Trust Yourself - Three Tips To Live By by Dorothy M. Neddermeyer, PhD

"Having a trusting and grounded relationship with yourself allows you to open up to others. Most often apprehension in your relationships comes from a fear of being upset by someone-a concern that stems more from your internal uncertainty than from the other person." Again, this is one aspect of self-help - trusting myself - that I most aspire to.

Dorothy has written over 900 personal development articles - wow! I think you will find that Dorothy has whatever ails you covered! :-)

I could have listed more personal development articles but I did not want to overload you with information. Check out what's being said by the people above about self-help and Personal Improvement and see if any of it makes sense for you and your life. (And let us know either way, eh - thanks!)
