My Story About Fear
by Niwampa

This story is not so much an inspirational story but it shows us the negative power and limiting effects of that 4-letter word called fear.
And it shows us the sometimes real, often imagined reasons for our fear too.
(STORY THEME: Fear )
Hullo this is Michael trying to communicate to you.
I really want to extent my appreciation for the work done on your website.
Okay, my story is about FEAR. Just as I have read on this site, I used to fear expressing myself in the public especially with the opposite sex. (Actually, as I talk now it's still a problem but to a lesser extent.)
And then I had a fear of asking for things from people. It was very challenging for me, and I found it difficult to get what I wanted. In one case, the major cause of my fear was because I was staying with my brother who was also paying the fees. So I was always in fear of offending him so much, because I feared the consequences - i.e. losing my sponsor.
STEVE COMMENT:
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on fear, here, Michael. Maybe you could also share your thoughts on how you go about overcoming fear, too, as you seem to be managing to do this, if slowly? :-)
