I love this quote, because it sums up everything wrong with our society. We are so judgmental because we're blinded by our preconceived ideas of what the world should look like, without trying to look more closely into things.

And another person that saw the human condition the same way, many hundreds of years later, was Anaïs Nin (though she may have borrowed them from an earlier time):
