Inspirational Greatness Quotes...

"What's all the fuss about 'greatness', Steve - just show me money (the inspirational quotes)!"...

Well, dear Monthly Marvel reader, greatness is about as inspirational as it gets when it comes to living a full life, living a life to be proud of, living a life that inspires others to do the same.

That's what I say, anyway. But am I there yet? Oh no!

Do I recognise others that live great lives? Yes.

• They are the people with infectious laughs that always leave you with tears in your eyes and your belly sore from laughing more than you wanted to.


• They are the people who 'turn the other cheek' when you insult or belittle or sneer at them, knowing that you're just having an 'off day' and it's nothing personal.


• They are the people who try, try and try again to achieve their dreams, never listening to those who say they can't.


• They are people like you and like me - we all have our 'great days', after all - who decide to act 'big' rather than our default reactionary 'small', in a certain 'difficult' situation.

Self-help, or personal development if you prefer, is ONLY about the following, to me

• being the best (greatest) version of yourself that you can be
• having a really good time whilst you're being that person

Everything else, is just details...

So, that's kinda why I'm big on greatness right now - I've decided it matters, matters more than anything else.

That's why I'm a fan of The Sedona Method from Hale Dwoskin (and The Work by Byron Katie) as it's about YOU responding to the world in as BIG a way as possible - not reacting, but choosing to respond (as much as you are able) from your highest place.

And that's why I love Mark Twain's quote (see below) - it reveals the powerfully transformational effects you can have on the life of another WHEN you access your greatness!...
