We could all do with inspiration every now and then!

And what better way to be inspired than to read an inspirational quote or three, from the likes of Albert Einstein, Woody Allen, Mother Teresa, Michael Jordan, Winston Churchill... - even Groucho Marx comes up with a famous inspirational quotation, just for you!

So whether motivation quotes are your thing, or you're a sports nut, or you just like funny quotes from the likes of Mark Twain and Oprah Winfrey (well, at least I think what she says is a funny quotation!), then you'll find it all here at the Self Help Collective inspirational quotations page.

Of course if you think these quotes are poor (or great - that would be better! ;-) ) then please do get in touch! Thanks. Now sit back and relax, this isn't going to hurt a bit (who said that then, eh?).

And now...

Inspirational Quotations

Inspirational quotes - what I say...

Well, as you'll see on my anger management page, I'm a big fan of the Buddha, when it comes to inspirational quotes. Yes, what the Buddha said about anger, made a lot of sense to me:

"Holding onto anger is like grasping onto a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else. You are the one who gets burned." -- Buddha

Nasty business, indeed!

Okay, I'll list a few more of my favourite inspirational quotes, and then provide the full list of quotations you'll find at the Self Help Collective. Off we go...

  • "You can't teach anybody anything, only make them realize the answers are already inside them."
    -- Galileo (Mr Astronomy)

  • "I am always doing that which I can not do, in order that I may learn how to do it."
    -- Picasso (Mr Painter)

  • "Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless."
    -- Mother Teresa (The saint?)

  • "Use what talent you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best"
    -- Henry Van Dyke

  • "Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you will help them become what they are capable of becoming."
    -- Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

  • "No one lives long enough to learn everything they need to learn starting from scratch. To be successful, we absolutely, positively have to find people who have already paid the price to learn the things that we need to learn to achieve our goals." -- Brian Tracy
    (More inspirational business quotes.)

  • "Of all forms of caution, caution in love is perhaps the most fatal to true happiness." -- Bertrand Russell
    (More inspirational love quotes.)

  • "What does a thought look like? Just look around you, right now... to see yours." -- Mike Dooley
    (More daily inspirational quotes.)

And you'll also find happiness quotes here, as well as quotations on success, self esteem quotes, self help quotes, positive attitude and not forgetting there are some love and happiness quotes too.

(Surely, that's enough inspirational quotations? If not... see below, I guess!)
