These
inspirational words were said by 'anonymous' - but still somebody's friend, I'm
sure. And they do sum up the love and delight that friendship can bring. As
do the free inspirational poems and famous poems listed below. And can there
be a more famous inspirational poem than Auld Lang Syne by Robert Burne? Perhaps
there can, but the words of Rabbie Burns are oft repeated at the end of each year
by thousands and thousands whose hearts pound with love... Oops, even I
am becoming inspired, 'poetically' so, when it comes to talking about friendship. But

Perfect Friend Today I found a friend
who knew everything I felt
she
knew my weakness
and the problems I've been dealt.
She understood my wonders

listened to my dreams,
she listened to how I felt about life and love
