Husband Left Me

by Rose

My husband has just left me for a younger woman. He's going through all our money, and really doesn't look happy. I'm trying to move, but can't. Can anyone help me?...

QUESTION: Husband Left Me For Younger Woman, Please Help Me!...

MORE FROM Rose...

I was left by my husband of 20 years for a girl that is 24 years younger than him.

It has been 8 months since he moved in with her, and despite trying to move on, I just cant. He was ordered by the judge to pay me alimony on the 15th of the month. He will not send me a check, wants to pay me cash, which means I have to see him once a month. He pays my cell phone bill and my car insurance.

I still feel that his new relationship will not work.

I do believe she is after security and his money. Yes he makes well into the 6 figures and she worked with him in the office and knew what kind of money he had.

He lavished her with all kinds of gifts when they started dating and of course bought her daughter gifts as well considering it was Dec. when they started seeing each other.

He ran through all of our savings and his paychecks, and even took out a few loans.

She was fired for fraternizing at work with him, and now stays at home (no job).

I was not able to give him a child, so when this happened I thought maybe that was why he left, or a mid-life crisis. I don't know.

When I see him, he complains a lot about not having any money. He still tells me he loves me. I don't know how to move on, or even if I want to.

If it is a child he is seeking I can handle that. He has hurt me, but I am a very forgiving person. Should I move forward, and how can I move forward?

In the back of my mind I keep thinking this girl is after his money, and I don't want to see him hurt. I could be wrong, but she is really young...

Does anyone have any advice for me?
