About You

I want to know about you!

(If you want to know about you, then take one of these self help tests!)

It's all very well you reading pages and pages about me, but what makes you tick? Why did you come to this particular self-help website? (And did you like what you found?) Etc.

C'mon, tell us about you please! :-)

Either share your story with us, or just contact us - and introduce yourself. Okay?

As for the rest of this 'about you' page? Well, think of it as entertainment to bribe you into contacting us... ;-)

None of us would exist if the sun did not keep on reappearing each morning...

About You

About you - what I say and what they say...

"Help yourself AND share your wisdom and help someone else too.

"After all, we all know more than we think about life, the universe and everything, about living a happy, fulfilled and meaningful life. And we can all be pretty hopeless too, and life can seem very hard indeed, as this happiness survey reveals."

That's what I say, anyway. What do you say?

And Desmond Tutu says, "We are family". And this 6 minute video "by the collective for the collective" simply asks, "What are you going to do?"

Well, what are you going to do? Let me know! :-)

And this is what Albert Einstein says...

"Wisdom is not a product of schooling but of the lifelong attempt to acquire it."

And these quotes are provided by Joel Osteen...

  • "You have something to offer that nobody else can give."

  • "Don't talk about the way that you are, talk about the way that you want to be."

  • "God was thinking about you before you were ever born."

  • "You will give birth to more in the future than you've lost in the past."

  • "Your destiny is not determined by your critics."

  • "Celebrate other people's victories."

Nice, eh!

And this is what Thich Nhat Hanh says...

"Our own life is the instrument with which we experiment with the truth."

And this Swedish proverb says...

"Fear less, hope more;
Whine less, breathe more;
Talk less, say more;
Hate less, love more;
And all good things are yours."

And these two blokes really were two clever ba***rds:

"You can't teach anybody anything, only make them realize the answers are already inside them" -- Galileo

"It is unwise to be too sure of one's own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err." -- Mahatma Gandhi

(Of course you know about the inspirational quotations on this website, don't you! :-) )

About you - what YouTube says...

I think this Ian Dury song called 'My Old Man' says a lot about who you might be (and the accompanying touching tribute from a son to his father certainly is a joy to share). By the way, Ian Dury couldn't really sing and he had Polio for most of his life but that didn't stop him from being an unconventional (and successful) punk-pop-rock star. Ian died, prematurely, of cancer after doing his bit to reduce Polio in the world. :-(

(Ian Dury inspires me to be 'the best me I can be', whatever my talents'. How about you - who inspires you?)

And this YouTube video inspires me too. It's a lot of fun, indeed. Oh yes...

And if you want to know what he's on about? Check out Grant's video. Hey, he didn't even have to find a male model for his video. Go Grant, go!

And finally, a little musical number from IPEC Coaching called "I am the River". A one-two-three-four...

About YOU - what YOU say...

Hey, don't make me beg here, people! Just get in touch. You can do that in one of two ways, right now:

  1. Tell us about Your Story

  2. Contact Us

I thank you kindly! :-) And now... exeunt stage left!

What do YOU think?

Do tell us what you think about the issue of 'me' and 'you'. Oh, and please rate this page - thanks. :-)
