Albert Schweitzer said this about the noble act of volunteering, and he is right. And this is, indeed, a worthy act to pursue in one's life, whether at New Year or any time of year.

I believe that volunteering is a new year resolution that needs all the support it can get. And that's what I offer here, all joking aside this time...

This new year resolution is very worthy.

I'm surprised it's so common, if truth be told.

So, in this instance, I'm going to stray off-character and say this to you..."OH - YES - YOU - ARE!..." - yes, this is one of those common resolutions you're going to succeed with (congratulations)!...

New year resolutions 09:

"I'm going to VOLUNTEER, and help others..."
